Hosted by the Clean Energy Leadership Institute, emPOWER22 is an in-person, non-traditional, day-long conference to leverage the talent, leadership, and knowledge of current and past Fellows breaking through silos within the clean energy industry.
This time is intended for us, as a CELI community, to deepen our understanding of leadership. What is needed in this moment from leadership that is different from other moments in time?
emPOWER is a space for current CELI Fellows, CELIons (our alumni), and friends of CELI to gather, discuss, share, and learn from each other. Attendees should be prepared to feel challenged, inspired, and motivated to tackle multifaceted issues in a changing energy landscape!

Adaptive Leadership
Hear from CELIons on how they are leading and meeting leadership needs across fields and industry verticals.
Engage in collective thinking about the spaces that we need to step into, and the leadership moments we need to seize.
Energy Justice
Challenge yourself and each other about continuing to learn about energy justice. We are learning how to be more than the sum of our parts to move the needle on equity outcomes and jointly build an energy system guided by the energy justice principles.
Community Building
Create opportunities for the CELI community to meet each other to build community, connect with new peers to engage around practice, and find new areas of interest to apply their talents
